Pulkit Samrat on Changing Face of Comedy: “Jokes Must Be Crafted Carefully”

Actor Pulkit Samrat is in the news for the release of his upcoming film "Rahu Ketu," which is set to be released on 16th January 2026. In a conversation with Zoom, Pulkit Samrat said, "Sometimes people don't take jokes well, so it's our responsibility to craft jokes well. We shouldn't overdo it, but rather understand the audience. We always assess the room." You need to be smart about what kind of jokes the audience is ready for. If you think you're on The Kapil Sharma Show and roast someone, they'll get angry. In the conversation, Varun Sharma said, "Making fun of someone else isn't comedy for us. It's the easiest thing to do, but I believe it's not right. We always try to avoid offending the other person. Even if someone laughs in person, they shouldn't think negatively when they go home."
