Ranveer Singh’s Most Expensive Film Yet? ‘Pralay’ Budget Reportedly Touches ₹300 Crore

Ranveer Singh has attained tremendous success with his latest released movie, "Dhurandhar." This spy thriller movie was a super hit at the box office and broke many records. Now, Ranveer Singh is extremely enthusiastic about his upcoming movie, "Pralay." This zombie drama movie is considered one of the biggest movies of his career, with a budget of crores.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the budget of this film is estimated to be around ₹300 crore. This could be Ranveer Singh's most expensive solo film to date. This includes everything from the script to VFX (visual effects). They have also entered into a backend profit-sharing deal.

The movie is being directed by Hansal Mehta’s son, Jay Mehta. The movie has been set in a COVID-19 pandemic scenario with a post-apocalyptic setting, a zombie thriller, high-octane action, and an emotional family drama. According to media reports, Kalyani Priyadarshan may star opposite Ranveer Singh in the film, but an official announcement has not yet been made. Shooting is expected to begin in May or June 2026.

Ranveer's "Dhurandhar 2" is set to hit theaters soon. It will release on March 19th, returning the cast from the first part, and is set on an even larger scale. Kannada actor Yash's film "Toxic" will also release on the same day.
