He said, "I consider myself fortunate that I have been nominated three times before and have won all three times. I hope that now I will have four awards soon. This time Ricky Kej has been nominated in the New Age Album category for 'Break of Dawn'. Renowned sitar player and composer Anoushka Shankar has also been nominated in the same category for her album 'Chapter Two: How Dark It Is Before Dawn'.
Ricky Kej first won the Grammy in the Best New Age category for 'Winds of Samsara' in 2015. Then, in 2022, again for 'Divine Tides' with Stewart Copeland. In the year 2023, Kej and Copland were again awarded for 'Divine Tides'. Then, he won the best immersive audio album. This time, the Grammys are going to be held on 2nd February 2025 at Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles.
