Thalapathy Vijay's film "Jana Nayagan" was originally planned for release on January 9th, coinciding with Pongal, but the release was postponed due to censorship issues. Fans eagerly awaited its release, but the film was leaked online before its April 10th release. Following this, the police have taken major action in this matter.
The Tamil Nadu Cyber Crime Wing has arrested 6 people in connection with the illegal online leak of the HD print of superstar Vijay's farewell film "Jana Nayagan". All the accused have been remanded to judicial custody.
This action was taken following a complaint from the film's makers, KVN Productions, stating that the film was being shared on several digital platforms without permission. Authorities also removed over 300 pirated links to prevent illegal promotion of the film.
The Cyber Crime Wing has appealed to people not to download, stream, or share "Jana Nayakan" or any copyrighted content. They stated clearly that piracy is a serious crime and that strict legal action will be taken against those involved.
It has also been warned that strict action will be taken against those who spread such pirated content through social media, messaging platforms, or websites. The investigation into the case is ongoing, and other accused are being identified.
KVN Productions has also issued a statement urging people to immediately delete such illegal links or face legal action.
