Akshay Kumar Rents Out Mumbai Duplex for ₹1.44 Lakh Monthly Amid Promotions of Bhoot Bangla
Akshay Kumar Duplex: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has rented his duplex Boeing 777 in Andheri to a commander. Is the monthly rent enough to cover the entire house's expenses?
Currently, Akshay Kumar is actively doing promotions his upcoming horror-comedy film, "Bhoot Bangla," which was directed by Priyadarshan. Recently, it was reported that Akshay has rented out his duplex flat in Andheri (West), Mumbai, to a commander named Annie Divya.
According to CRE Matrix data, the property is rented for Rs 1.44 lakh per month. The rental agreement was registered on April 7th of this year. This duplex apartment is located on the 11th and 12th floors of the Sky Pan building, located on New Link Road in the Oberoi Complex in Mumbai. Annie Divya hails from Vijayawada. She is one of the youngest commanders in the world to fly a Boeing 777 aircraft.
The total budget of the film "Bhoot Bangla" is approximately ₹120 crore. To earn a profit of more than 53.4 percent, the film will need to earn more than ₹64.08 crore. The film stars Akshay Kumar alongside Tabu, Vamika Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, and Asrani. "Bhoot Bangla" will be released in theaters on April 17, 2026. Paid preview shows will begin at 9 pm on April 16, 2026.
Speaking to ETimes, Priyadarshan said, "I don't believe in ghosts at all. I'm a student of psychology. Fear resides in our minds." He further explained that the film's protagonist also initially doesn't believe in ghosts, but gradually comes to believe them.
