According to PTI, during surgery in America, the cancerous gall bladder of the Kannada actor was removed. In its place, an artificial gall bladder of the actor has been installed. The actor's gall bladder has been removed after surgery at a hospital in Miami, America. The surgeon who operated on him has given this information. Dr Murugesh Manoharan said that an artificial gall bladder was made using the actor's intestine and it has been implanted.

The actor's family has also given his health update. The statement issued by the family said, 'We are happy to share this information related to Shiva Rajkumar's health. He underwent surgery on Wednesday and it was successful. We are happy to inform that Shiva Rajkumar is now in stable condition. His health is improving. Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa and Shiva Rajkumar's wife Geeta were also with the actor during his surgery.
