Suriya ready to start shooting for Vetrimaaran's film 'Vaadivaasal', producer made many revelations

Discussing Vaadivaasal, the producer of the film said that Suriya is ready to start shooting. Earlier the director was busy producing 'Viduthalai Part 2'. That film has now been released.

He said that an important part of the film, the animatronic bull, is in its last stage in London, which makes it likely that the film will come on the floor soon. The film 'Vaadivasal' starring Suriya in the lead role was announced some time ago. Directed by Vetrimaaran, the film is based on the story of a bull-taming festival in Tamil Nadu, which will also present a tale of revenge.
The reports say that the story speaks about Picchi and Marudan attending the annual bull-taming festival in the village of Periyapatti. Picchi and Marudan plan to tame a wild-eyed bull that had defeated Picchi's father, which can be said to be the starting point of a revenge story. Since the movie was in its pre-production stage for quite some time, there were reports doing the rounds that it may get shelved. However, the director himself mentioned in a media interaction that the movie has not been shelved but has been postponed as he had other commitments to finish.

The movie is the second installment of the two-part film franchise. The film traces the story of a police constable who gets embroiled in an argument with the leader of a separatist group. Starring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, the film also features Gautham Vasudev Menon, Manju Warrier, Kishore, Bhavani Sere, Rajiv Menon, Ilavarasu and Balaji Sakthivel in pivotal roles.
