Vishal Shelke further explained, "Arijit's decision stems from his growing passion for storytelling and creative work beyond music. Arijit has a keen interest in filmmaking. He may be making his own film. This is the area Arijit is currently focusing on. This is why Arijit has decided to quit playback singing."
