Aamir Khan's Oscar-nominated movie Lagaan, which arrived in 2001, was filmed in Gujarat's Kunaria village. Mr. Perfectionist is visiting this village again after approximately 25 years. The reason also is extremely special. In fact, Aamir Khan is coming here in relation to the show of his movie 'Sitare Zameen Par', which hit the screens in June this year.

His movie 'Sitare Zameen Par' was released on the cinema halls on 20th June 2025. Now he is off to Kunaria village for a special screening of his movie. This village is located near Bhuj in Gujarat. The shooting of the film 'Lagaan' was completed in this village itself. In the film, it was shown as Champaner. Going to Kunaria village for the shooting of his recently released blockbuster film 'Sitare Zameen Par' will be an experience that will refresh old memories for Aamir Khan. Also, it is a new way of storytelling for him.

Genelia Deshmukh also appeared in an important role with Aamir Khan in the film 'Sitare Zameen Par'. Through the film 'Sitare Zameen Par', Aamir Khan gave a chance to ten new emerging talents in the film. He made the film with Arush Dutta, Gopi Krishna Verma, Sanvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra and Simran Mangeshkar.

This film was directed by R.S Prasanna. Aamir Khan has not released the film 'Sitare Zameen Par' on OTT, but it has been released directly on YouTube. The film was released on Aamir's official YouTube channel 'Aamir Khan Talkies' on August 01. Here the film has been released according to the pay-per-view model. The film can be watched by paying Rs 100.
