Aamir Khan's Oscar-nominated movie Lagaan, which arrived in 2001, was filmed in Gujarat's Kunaria village. Mr. Perfectionist is visiting this village again after approximately 25 years. The reason also is extremely special. In fact, Aamir Khan is coming here in relation to the show of his movie 'Sitare Zameen Par', which hit the screens in June this year.
His movie 'Sitare Zameen Par' was released on the cinema halls on 20th June 2025. Now he is off to Kunaria village for a special screening of his movie. This village is located near Bhuj in Gujarat. The shooting of the film 'Lagaan' was completed in this village itself. In the film, it was shown as Champaner. Going to Kunaria village for the shooting of his recently released blockbuster film 'Sitare Zameen Par' will be an experience that will refresh old memories for Aamir Khan. Genelia Deshmukh also appeared in an important role with Aamir Khan in the film 'Sitare Zameen Par'.
