‘Animal Park’ Shoot to Begin in Mid-2027, Confirms Sandeep Reddy Vanga

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film 'Animal', directed by Ranbir Kapoor, was a blockbuster at the box office. Almost two years have passed since the film was released in India and became a huge success. Now, the film is all set for its release in Japan. A special screening of the film was conducted for the audience before its release on February 13th. The director of the film, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and the actor Ranbir Kapoor spoke with the audience too. When asked about the sequel of 'Animal Park,' the director revealed when the shooting would begin.

Talking about his upcoming project "Animal Park," Sandeep Reddy Vanga stated, "The shoot of 'Animal Park' will begin as soon as the current movie is done. It will have more animals because Aziz is an animal too. Keeping this in mind, the story will now revolve around two brothers who look alike. Therefore, I felt that 'Animal Park' would be apt. I will start shooting in mid-2027." Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently busy shooting for the Prabhas and Tripti Dimri-starrer "Spirit," which will be released in 2027.

On this occasion, Ranbir Kapoor also spoke about the film and expressed his excitement about "Animal Park." The actor said, "I am very excited to be back on set with Sandeep and playing this character. Now there is another character. Since it is a continuing story, he had the story of the second part clear in his mind even while shooting the first part. As an actor, this is very exciting and inspiring for me." We both constantly talk and discuss different ideas.

The action-thriller "Animal" was released in theaters in 2023. The film depicted a complex father-son relationship. Ranbir played Ranvijay Vijay Singh, while Anil Kapoor played the father. Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri also appeared in lead roles. The film was a box office success, grossing over ₹900 crore worldwide. However, it was criticized for several scenes and excessive violence.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is currently working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film "Love and War." It is a period drama set in the 1960s. It stars his wife Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. It is expected to be released this year. Ranbir will also be seen in Nitesh Tiwari's much-awaited film "Ramayana: Part One," where he plays Lord Rama. The film will be released on Diwali this year.
