Arjun Rampal recalls surviving 2008 Mumbai Terror Attacks, says Dhurandhar 2 helped him ‘avenge the pain’

"Dhurandhar 2," directed by Aditya Dhar, has been in the news for various reasons since its release. Arjun Rampal also plays the pivotal role of Major Iqbal, an ISI agent. His performance in the film has also been widely praised. Now, Arjun Rampal has spoken about the 26/11 terrorist attack scene depicted in "Dhurandhar." He also explained how the film helped him avenge the pain he suffered during the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
Speaking at an event, Arjun Rampal revealed that he was in this hotel during the 26/11 attacks in 2008. He had come to pick up his friends. We were going to the Taj Hotel because we were going there to celebrate my birthday, which coincidentally also fell on 26/11. A boy was getting ready. May his soul rest in peace.
We were at the bar, ordering drinks, and then the first bomb exploded near Mahim. I heard the sound, and the glass shook, and we were all shocked, "What was that?" Within ten minutes, our phones started ringing, and everyone was saying that a gang war had broken out in Colaba.
In 20-30 minutes, the entire Four Seasons Hotel was surrounded. Adarsh Jatia (Managing Director of Provenance Land, owner of the Four Seasons Hotel) politely offered me a suite and said, "You can stay here overnight, but we can't let anyone out; it's not safe." On my birthday, I witnessed the horrors of 26/11 with my own eyes.
Arjun Rampal further added, "In the morning, while driving home, I had to stop at least three times because I felt like I was going to vomit. When Aditya Dhar narrated the 26/11 scene to me, I knew I would take my revenge, and that's what I did to Dhurandhar. All I want to say is, Bharat Mata ki Jai."
