Actress Ankita Lokhande pens heartfelt birthday wishes for husband Vicky Jain and her mother Vandana, calling them the man and life of her world.
Mumbai, Aug 1 — Popular actress Ankita Lokhande on Saturday shared heartfelt birthday wishes for her husband Vicky Jain and her mother Vandana, describing the former as the man of her life and the latter as someone whose contributions she can never repay.
In her Instagram stories, Lokhande posted a photograph with Jain and wrote: “Wish u a long long long life my world. Happy birthday to the man of my life.” She followed it with a picture of herself and her mother, captioned: “Meri maa I love u and i cant repay u in any form what you gave me. Happy birthday my life.”
Lokhande and Jain married in 2021 after the actress publicly confirmed their relationship in 2019. The couple recently appeared together on the culinary reality show Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment, hosted by Bharti Singh and judged by chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. The format is based on the Tamil show Cooku with Comali.
The recently concluded third season featured contestants including Abhishek Kumar, Samarth Jurel, Aly Goni, Jannat Zubair, Arjun Bijlani, Tejasswi Prakash, Elvish Yadav, Karan Kundrra, Kashmera Shah, Krushna Abhishek, Nia Sharma and Sudesh Lehri, alongside Ankita and Vicky. Aly Goni and Jannat Zubair were declared the season winners.
Lokhande first rose to prominence with the lead role of Archana Deshmukh in the long-running television series Pavitra Rishta (2009–2014), opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and Hiten Tejwani. She later participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4, Comedy Circus ka Naya Daur and Ek Thhi Naayka.
She made her Bollywood debut in 2018 with Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, an epic drama based on the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai. Subsequent film credits include the action thriller Baaghi 3 (2020) and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar (2024). In 2021 she reprised her role as Archana in the web series Pavitra Rishta: It’s Never Too Late opposite Shaheer Sheikh.
