Samantha Ruth Prabhu Once Compared Real Life to 'KGF' While Teasing Karan Johar on 'Koffee with Karan'
Samantha Ruth Prabhu: Famous South Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently appeared on Karan Johar's show, 'Koffee with Karan'. During the show, Samantha explained to Karan the reason behind 'unhappy marriages.'
When Samantha Ruth Prabhu appeared on the seventh season of the famous show Koffee with Karan hosted by Karan Johar, she delivered an ironic joke to Karan. Indian film actor Akshay Kumar also appeared on the show.
She joked about Karan Johar saying that in a way, he was the cause of many failed marriages in the nation since he has displayed weddings, beautiful lehengas, and songs in his movies to such perfection that the expectations have moved away from the reality.
Samantha said, "Since childhood, you have shown people that life is beautiful like 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', whereas real life is full of hardships like 'KGF'."
Samantha is soon going to become a mother. She and her husband, Raj Nidimoru, are preparing to welcome their first child. Samantha recently confirmed the news of her pregnancy through a social media post.
Speaking to the media after the success of her new film 'Maa Inti Bangaram', Samantha revealed that she is taking a break from films for a while. She stated that she is going on maternity leave after 'Maa Inti Bangaram'. After the break, she will return to her fans with a new film.
Samantha and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru first met during the shooting of the web series 'The Family Man 2'. Subsequently, the two got married last December. This is Samantha's second marriage. Prior to this, she married actor Naga Chaitanya in 2017, but the two divorced in October 2021.
