Sonam Kapoor Calls Out AI in Fashion Design, Says Creativity Should Come from Artists

Sonam Kapoor, an actress from Bollywood, is renowned for having an excellent sense of fashion. Recently, however, she expressed her views about the use of AI by designers. Sonam Kapoor condemned AI because according to her, it is not meant for artists.
Criticizing AI, Sonam Kapoor wrote on her Instagram story, "I am fed up with designers using AI to create things. Everything looks the same. It's terrible."
She urged artists not to use AI in their creative work, saying, "Please take my word for it-it’s not cool. AI is not for artists. It is a support system to enhance your work, not a tool to create it. I am very disappointed by this."
The actress's post comes after she grabbed attention with her glamorous looks at the wedding festivities of her cousin, Anshula Kapoor, and Rohan Thakkar. Anshula and Rohan tied the knot in a private ceremony on July 6, 2026.
Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor is married to Indian businessman Anand Ahuja. The couple wed in a lavish ceremony in 2018. Their first son, Vayu, was born in August 2022. The couple became parents for the second time on March 29 and named their son Rudralok Kapoor Ahuja.
On the work front, Sonam Kapoor was last seen in the 2023 crime-thriller film 'Blind'. It is a remake of the 2011 Korean film of the same name. Directed by Shome Makhija, this film marked Sonam's return to the big screen six years after 'The Zoya Factor'.
