Brahmastra 2 After Ramayana: A glimpse of producer Namit Malhotra's film "Ramayana" was recently shown, which received mixed reactions. Namit recently provided a new update on the film "Brahmastra 2."
"Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva," a Hindi fantasy adventure film, was released in 2022. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan play the lead roles in this movie. The director of the film is Ayan Mukerji. Recently, producer Namit Malhotra revealed more about the upcoming movie "Brahmastra 2."
The fans had been eagerly waiting for "Brahmastra 2." Finally, there is some news regarding the same. "Brahmastra 2" is still under production. Speaking at CinemaCon 2026, Namit Malhotra mentioned that he would produce "Brahmastra 2" once he completes "Ramayana." He stated that he aims to expand the Brahmastra universe.
"Brahmastra 2," the sequel to "Brahmastra," will detail the love story of Dev and Amrita and their entire background, a glimpse of which was seen at the end of the first film. Ranbir Kapoor also recently said on Alia Bhatt's birthday that Ayan Mukerji had been wanting to make this film for a long time. In fact, Ayan was working on "War 2" at the time. Pre-production for "Brahmastra 2" began after the release of "War 2." Ranbir also clearly stated that "Brahmastra 2" is definitely happening.
Currently, Namit Malhotra and actor Yash are promoting "Ramayana." The film "Ramayana" has a budget of approximately ₹4,000 crore. It stars Ranbir Kapoor (Ram), Sai Pallavi (Sita), and Yash (Ravana). The film will be released in two parts: the first part on Diwali 2026 and the second on Diwali 2027.
