Pakistani actress Humaira died several months ago, shocking revelation in postmortem report

Pakistani actress Humaira Asghar is no longer alive in this world. She was recently found dead in a Karachi apartment. Humaira's body had decomposed in the Karachi apartment, according to the police. Now, a startling revelation has come up in the postmortem report of the actress. As per news agency PTI, as per the initial postmortem report, Humaira passed away around eight to 10 months ago.

Humaira was 32 years old and lived alone. She had also worked in various television serials and two movies. During the enforcement of the court order of eviction from the flat last week, the police party discovered her body in a decomposed condition. Geo News on Friday quoted the postmortem report as saying that the body was badly decomposed and could not be identified at the time of recovery.

According to the findings of the postmortem report, the body was in the last stage of decomposition. The facial muscles were completely atrophied. Fingers and nails had shrunk to bones. The condition of the actress' body was such that the bones started breaking on touching. The report said that due to the stage of decomposition, it is impossible to determine the exact cause of death at this time. However, according to Geo News, DNA profiling and toxicology tests are underway. These are expected to provide more information.

Humaira's family received her remains on Thursday, and they were rushed to Lahore by ambulance. Earlier, DIG South Zone Asad Raza had said that Humaira's family members have flatly refused to accept and bury the actress' body. They claimed that they had broken ties with her in the last two years. He said the case presented unusual challenges because the body remained undiscovered for so long and no neighbours checked on it, and no one aroused any suspicions.
