The Karnataka police filed an extra charge sheet in the murder case against Karnataka superstar Darshan and others. The case's investigating officer, the Additional Commissioner of Police Chandan Kumar, presented the charge sheet in the court in Bengaluru. It is reported that the charge sheet consists of 132 pages, including new evidence in the murder case and the testimony of the witnesses.
It is being claimed that the police recovered a photo of Darshan along with the other accused on the day of the murder. The photo was deleted from the phone of one of the accused. Which was recovered during the investigation. It is an embarrassment for Darshan. Because his party is claiming that Darshan was not on the spot when the incident happened.
Karnataka police have also appealed in the Supreme Court against granting bail to Darshan. The Supreme Court, while reviewing the case, said on Tuesday that it would consider it after July 14. While granting bail in this case, the court had directed Darshan and the other accused to appear in court every month.
Darshan, his partner Pavitra, and 15 others were arrested on 11 June 2024. The allegation is that these people kidnapped a fan, Renuka Swami, and brutally murdered her. It is also alleged that Renuka Swami sent abusive and obscene messages to Pavitra. Renuka was a fan of the actor.
