Ram Charan Opens Up on Parenting: ‘I’m a Strict but Supportive Father’

Ram Charan from the South is busy with his forthcoming film, "Peddi." Ram Charan has three children: two daughters and one son. Recently, Ram Charan gave an interview regarding parenting. As per him, he is very strict as a father and his kids are his heartbeat.
In an interview with Esquire India, he was asked whether he was a strict father or a fun-loving one. He replied, "I'm a strict kind of father. The kind who lets them jump, play in the mud, climb, and take risks. Their mother gives them love and affection, and when they need courage, they come to me."
He said, "We learn our biggest lessons from watching our parents. I want to be a person who is always present. I want to be a father who is always there for his children. My pets and my own family... that's my world. I try to keep my world a little small and limited."
Ram and Upasana got engaged in 2011 and married in 2012. The couple's first child, Klin Kara, was born in 2023. In January 2026, Upasana gave birth to twins—a boy and a girl. The children are named Shiva Ram Konidela and Anveera Devi Konidela.
Ram Charan is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film, "Peddi." This sports action drama is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and stars Janhvi Kapoor in the film. The film was originally scheduled to release on April 30, but has been postponed.
