Fashion Meets Grace: Maheika Sharma Dazzles in Flowing White Ensemble
Maheika Sharma: Model Mahika Sharma dazzled on the first day of Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai. She stole the show as the showstopper for designer Anamika Khanna.
Maheika Sharma wore a white drape outfit on the runway. She wore a personalized handbag with frills, frilled shoes, and drop earrings. Her hair was tied in a bun, with some strands of hair left loose in front of the face.
When asked by the press, Mahika said that this was her second time walking the ramp for Khanna, but this time the event was exclusive to her.
Anamika Khanna was asked about her collection, and she replied that her collection was inspired by “Imperfect Flowers.” She explained that just as a rose grows in a place where it shouldn’t, so was the inspiration for her collection.
Mahika also expressed her happiness over the Indian cricket team's victory in the T20 World Cup. She said that she is proud of her team, but for her, the "Player of the Team" is Hardik Pandya.
This collection from Anamika Khanna's AK|OK label featured multipurpose outfits that could be styled in different ways. These included dhoti pants, ruffled tops, co-ord sets, and floor-length gowns.
Hand embroidery, gold zari work, 3D detailing, and asymmetrical designs made the collection even more special. A highlight of the show was the introduction of menswear by AK|OK.
