Odia singer Human Sagar, who had been fighting between life and death for days, is no more. At 34 years of age, the young singer breathed his last on Monday evening, sending a shockwave across the Odia film and music industry. The melodies that touched millions of hearts have fallen silent forever.

According to doctors, Human Sagar died due to multi-organ dysfunction syndrome. He had been undergoing treatment at AIIMS Bhubaneswar for the past three days due to his deteriorating health. On November 14, at around 1:10 pm, Human Sagar was brought to AIIMS Bhubaneswar in critical condition. Doctors immediately shifted him to the medical ICU and conducted numerous tests. Reports revealed that several vital organs in his body had stopped functioning. Doctors revealed that he was suffering from acute-on-chronic liver failure, bilateral pneumonia, and dilated cardiomyopathy. His condition deteriorated rapidly, and he breathed his last on Monday evening. This tragic news has sent shockwaves across the state.

When his health deteriorated and he was admitted to the ICU two days ago, the former Chief Minister of the state wished him a speedy recovery on social media. He wrote that the entire state was praying for his recovery and hoped he would soon recover and return to his family and the world of music. But fate had other plans for him.

Human Sagar's popularity wasn't limited to his songs—he was the voice of people's emotions. He debuted with the title track of the film "Ishq Tu Hi Tu," which was a huge hit with audiences. He subsequently sang hundreds of songs not only in the Odia film industry but also made his mark in Hindi with albums like "Mera Yeh Jahan." Her voice possessed a depth and poignancy that propelled albums like Nishwasa, Bekhudi, Tuma Otha Tale, and Chehra to superhit success. Her voice resonated in nearly every home in Odisha, and today her silence has left a void.
