Imran Khan’s Comeback Film With Bhumi Pednekar Nears Release, Inspired by Real-Life Experiences
Imran Khan: Actor Imran Khan is returning to films after 10 years. He recently revealed details about his upcoming film. He will now be seen in a film by Danish Aslam, director of "After the Break."
After 10 long years, Aamir Khan's nephew and actor Imran Khan is returning to films. He is making a new film with his old buddy and director Danish Aslam, with whom he had made "After the Break" some 15 years ago. In a recent interview, Imran spoke candidly about his comeback and the film.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Imran explained that his upcoming film is similar to "After the Break." He said, "This film is based on Danish and I've experienced life experiences. Danish is married, and I'm divorced. This is a personal project that began with a desire to tell a story with friends." The film has been completed and is in post-production. The release date on the streaming platform will be announced soon.
Emraan will star alongside actress Bhumi Pednekar in the film. Emraan explained that choosing Bhumi was a mutual decision. She created a pleasant atmosphere on set. "It was the most fun set of my career," he said. The film also stars actor Gurfateh Pirzada.
Emraan revealed that he initially declined the role in "After the Break." He was filming "I Hate Love Stories" at the time. Danish tried to narrate the story to him, but Imran didn't like listening to the story, so he declined. Later, he met Danish at a party, and their conversation changed his mind. Danish sent him the script, which Imran liked, and then they began shooting the film.
Emraan was last seen in the 2015 film 'Katti Batti'. After this film, he quit acting because he didn't like the roles he was offered. Now he's making a comeback, but he's being very careful with his projects.
