Ishita Arun Breaks Silence After Trolls Target Her for Smiling at Uncle Piyush Pandey’s Funeral
Ishita Arun Slams Trolls: Recently, Ishita Arun, daughter of Bollywood singer and actress Ila Arun, was heavily trolled at the funeral of ad guru Piyush Pandey. Now, she has given a befitting reply to the trolls.
Ishita Arun, the daughter of singer-actress Ila Arun of Bollywood, was a subject of debate on social media. She was in the news recently when she attended the cremation of her uncle, Piyush Pandey, a celebrated advertising guru. Her smiling face in a video clip has gone viral, and some have trolled her for it. Ishita has now opened up on the issue.
Ishita shared several notes on Instagram Stories, explaining that not everyone's way of expressing grief is the same. She wrote that her uncle, whom the entire nation called the "Father of Indian Advertising," always taught her to live life with a smile. In such a situation, if a smile appeared on our faces while remembering him, it wasn't an insult to grief, but a continuation of memories.
Ishita wrote that every person has a different way of grieving. When you're saying goodbye to someone who always brought laughter to life, remembering him with laughter isn't wrong, but rather a true tribute.
She also said that some people on social media pass judgment based on just a second of video. She wrote, "Some people are busy turning others' moments into things in their free time. In the moment you saw, we laughed remembering a funny line he said; only he could have said that line. If you knew him, there would be no need for an explanation."
Ishita further wrote that her family never shows grief. She wrote, "We remember our loved one with truth. In laughter, in courage, and in life. We won't mute our emotions to please an unsuspecting audience."
Following Ishita's response, many Bollywood celebrities and fans expressed their support. People said it's time society understands that grief doesn't just mean tears. Seeing someone smile doesn't mean they're unaware of pain.
