Kailash Kher Says Kailasa’s Music Will Never Fade: “Love and Emotions Never Go Out of Style”

Kailash Kher, as a Sufi singer, has sung many great songs in Bollywood films. Kailash Kher started the band "Kailasa" 20 years ago. A generation has grown up listening to his popular tracks like "Teri Deewani," "Tauba Tauba," and "Saiyan." Recently, he explained why his band's songs will never become old or fade away.

In an interview with PTI, Kailash Kher said, "Love and emotions never go out of style. The band Kailasa's music will always be relevant because it expresses human emotions." He further said that even though music today is dominated by rap, electronic sounds, and other new genres, people will continue to listen to emotional music like Kailasa.

The singer said, "When people listen to Kailasa, they feel, 'My father listened to this... I grew up with this.' This continuum of love keeps music alive. I used to think that people only come to break your heart. But over the years, seeing the impact of Kailasa's music has made me realize that true love still exists. As long as there's a little madness of love in the world, the earth will continue to bloom beautifully."

On Friday, the 52-year-old singer and his band performed at Meher Rangat 2025, the annual folk music festival held in the national capital. Organized by Kailasa Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the event took place at Connaught Place. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also attended the event. Kailash Kher and his band performed songs like 'Allah Ke Bande', 'O Rangeele', 'Jai Jaikara' and 'Chak De Chak De Phatte' here.
