Nani expects a strong comeback of Bollywood, said- 'Audience wants great films'
Nani On Bollywood: Telugu actor Nani talked about the difficult phase of Bollywood and expressed hope that Hindi cinema will make a comeback soon. He has also given some suggestions during this time. Know what the actor said.
Bollywood is under a lean phase for quite some time now. Even many of the biggest films are failing to perform the way they are expected to. While South films are consistently doing well and are normally overpowering Bollywood films somewhere. It is even claimed that South films are saving the Indian film sector. Behind the guise of which the downturn of Bollywood is being hidden. Now, South actor Nani has commented on this topic and hopes that Bollywood will bounce back strongly sooner.
During a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, actor Nani talked about Indian films. He said, "The Indian film industry has its ups and downs. It is not right to say that South films are saving Bollywood. Instead, we can use the right word balance. There are times when Telugu cinema also faces a slowdown. Last summer itself, the theatres were closed because no film was running even during the peak season. But we always come back strong, and the same will happen for Hindi cinema."
During this, Nani further said, "Today, the audience does not care about the language of the film. Everyone just wants a great film. This is what inspires all of us. Be it Bollywood, Tollywood, or anywhere else, so that we keep our standards high and make better stories. I am confident that Hindi cinema will return to its old style again. In this period, we need to introspect and think, so that we can come back stronger again. Sometimes you need those breaks to restart the engine, this is that break."
Talking about the work front, Nani is currently busy promoting his upcoming film 'Hit: The Third Case'. This film is going to be released on May 1. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, this film will feature Srinidhi Shetty in the lead role alongside him.
