In an Instagram post, Tisca Chopra wrote, "On March 7th, we said goodbye to our mother, Pammi Arora. Those who knew her loved her. The reason for this was very simple: she had a very light-hearted nature. There was no room for seriousness in her company. If a problem arose, she had a two-word philosophy ready: 'Mitti Pao.'" Meaning, throw mud at it. Move on.
He further wrote, "My mother's smile was like the moon peeking through the clouds. Nothing lingered in her mind for long. She always valued fun and humor over judgment. She valued kindness above all else."
He further wrote, "From her, I learned one of the most useful life lessons no one else ever taught me: You already have a 'no' in your pocket. Now go out and get a 'yes.' That was Pammi Arora's own style. She gave me something else that shaped my entire life. That was the artistic gene. An innate tendency to act, to tell stories, and to lean toward color and emotion rather than monotonous routine."
Tisca Chopra is a versatile Indian actress, writer, and director. She rose to prominence with her stellar performance as Maya Awasthi in the film "Taare Zameen Par" (2007), for which she received a Filmfare nomination. She has produced short films like 'Chutney' and 'Rubaru'.
