Salman Khan fans always pray for his safety every moment. On April 14, 2024, when two unknown persons opened fire outside the Sikandar actor's house at around 5:30 in the morning, his fans were very scared.

But the Mumbai Police later caught a man in this case. The man was said to belong to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Now, recently, there has been a new update on the firing incident at Salman Khan's residence and the police have dismissed the accused arrested in this case's arguments and denied him bail.

A special court in Mumbai refused to grant bail to an alleged member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang arrested in connection with the shootout at actor Salman Khan's residence last year, saying, "The accused cannot escape the MCOCA provisions just because there is no criminal background against him."

Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) judge Mahesh Jadhav on Friday rejected the bail plea of accused Sonu Chander alias Sonukumar Bishnoi. The special court said that the evidence clearly shows that Chander had conspired with other accused and the kingpin of the Bishnoi gang to murder the victim. The court said that as per the relevant provisions of the Act, membership of an organised crime gang itself makes a person liable under MCOCA.

The special court further said that as per records, charge sheets have already been filed against the organised crime gang in Rajasthan and New Delhi. In those cases, gang leaders Lawrence Bishnoi and Anmol Bishnoi and other associates conspired and committed the crime.
