Rakul Preet Singh Reveals Why She Can’t Be Friends With Ajay Devgan, Says Their Bond Is Built on Deep Respect

Rakul Preet Singh recently appeared with Ajay Devgan in the film "De De Pyaar De 2." The film is doing well at the box office. Recently, she revealed that though she isn't new to the industry, she has far less experience when compared to Ajay Devgan. She explained why she cannot maintain a friendship with Ajay Devgan.

In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Rakul Preet Singh said, "I can't maintain a friendship with him. My relationship with him is one of respect. To me, he's still Ajay Devgan. He's a senior actor and a very nice person. I address Ajay Devgan with respect."

Rakul Preet Singh explained why she can't be friends with Ajay Devgan, saying, "An actor your age or younger becomes your friend. I consider Ajay Devgan my sir. I don't consider myself new to the industry, yet I have less experience than him."

Directed by Anshul Sharma, "De De Pyaar De 2" stars Rakul Preet Singh and Ajay Devgan, along with R. Madhavan, Gautami Kapoor, Javed Jaffrey, Meezaan Jaffrey, and Arjun Panchal. The film was released in theaters on November 14th. It depicts an older man romancing a younger woman. The film has so far collected ₹51.10 crore at the box office.
