Rani Mukerji Shares Candid Parenting Moments, Says Daughter Isn’t Afraid to Speak Up

Rani Mukerji is currently in the news for her upcoming film "Mardaani 3," which is set to release on January 30th. In a conversation with Zoom, Rani Mukerji shared her parenting experiences. "Raising a new generation child is terrifying. I know that my daughter Adira won't sit quietly with me for anything I say. She will respond. When she does, I will have to listen." If I had retorted back when I was a child, my mother would have slapped me, but I can't slap my daughter. She can slap me back. I remember when the National Awards were being held, Adira was dancing with joy at home. I found her behavior very cute, but I'm still afraid of her because she's a Gen Alpha kid.

Rani Mukerji further explained that her daughter Adira doesn't watch her mother's films. The actress said, "My daughter can't see me crying. She's happy when I'm happy on screen. She likes my films like 'Hichki,' 'Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic,' and 'Bunty Aur Babli.' Adira doesn't watch 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' because my death scene comes early. She doesn't even see me with makeup on. She says you don't look like my mother. So when I remove the makeup and go to her, she says you look like my mother now."
