“The Taj Story” Sparks Debate; Paresh Rawal Says It Unveils Untold Facts About the Taj Mahal

Paresh Rawal is in the news today. The reason behind it is his new film "The Taj Story," which is embroiled in controversy over its release. The actor has put forward his view on the movie, mentioning that it brings lots of untold stories to the people.

Actor Paresh Rawal spoke to ANI. He said, "This film is about the architecture and subsequent transformation of the Taj Mahal, which was borrowed from someone who borrowed someone else's palace. The time it took, some assumptions, and some misunderstandings, which led to the amputation of the hands of approximately 22,000 people, have all been revealed. The truth has been revealed."

The actor further responded to the controversy surrounding the film. He said, "It causes immense damage to the social fabric, the mindset of the people, and to a country like India, where fragile situations often occur." He further added, "There are some topics that create controversy. This is a historical event and has been mentioned in many books, starting from the 16th century. When the Taj Mahal was being built, someone traveled there and wrote his account. Over time, the meaning of things changes. We are bringing a healthy debate to the audience."

The film will be released in theaters on October 31. Written and directed by Tushar Amrish Goyal, the film is produced by Suresh Jha. Apart from Paresh Rawal, it also stars Zakir Hussain, Amruta Khanvilkar, Namit Das, and Sneha Wagh.
