The young maestro of Indian classical music, Ustad Nabeel Khan, has reinvented the sarangi. He is ready to spread his magic in Dubai this year at the "Emirates Loves India" event, scheduled to take place on October 26th at Dubai's Zabeel Park. It is expected to be the largest Indian community festival ever, with over 60,000 people expected to attend. This event will celebrate Indian music, art, and culture, as well as the deep cultural ties between India and the UAE.

The event is being hosted in collaboration with the UAE Government's Media Office. Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will be the chief guest at this grand event. He will be accompanied by several diplomats, business leaders, and Dubai Police officials. The event is not just a musical extravaganza, but a celebration of the two countries' cultural partnership—further strengthening the historic India-UAE ties through music, art, food, and performances.

Born on September 2, 1999, in New Delhi, Nabeel Khan is recognized as the world's youngest and most renowned sarangi player. He hails from the eighth generation of sarangi artists and belongs to the Moradabad Sainiya Gharana—a family whose musical tradition traces its roots back to Mian Tansen.

Nabeel is the grandson of Padma Bhushan Ustad Sabri Khan and son of renowned sarangi player Ustad Nasir Khan. His family is recognized as a legacy in Indian classical music that has taught the art of meditation and connecting notes with the soul for centuries.

Nabeel Khan has brought a modern touch to the traditional soul of the sarangi. He has given it a new dimension by fusing various musical styles such as Sufi, Qawwali, rock, and Bollywood. His performances combine traditional sentiments with a modern energy. This is why he is popularizing classical music even among the younger generation. In an interview, Nabeel said, "The Sarangi is not a voice, but the language of the soul. When I play it, it feels as if every note is a prayer from the heart."

Nabeel Khan has been awarded the prestigious Golden Visa by the UAE government. He is the first and only Indian Sarangi player to receive this honor. This honor was given to him for his extraordinary contributions and for bringing recognition to Indian music internationally. It is noteworthy that only a few Indian artists have received this honor before. This list includes Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, and Varun Dhawan.

Nabeel Khan has performed in countries such as India, the United Kingdom, Italy, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, Denmark, Poland, Sri Lanka, Norway, Spain, Portugal, and France. He has brought international recognition to the Indian classical heritage by bringing the Sarangi to the global music stage.

This Dubai event will be a confluence of various genres and artists. Nabeel Khan will be joined by popular singer Mika Singh, Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar, and Malayalam rapper Neeraj Madhav. Together, the artists will present a vibrant blend of music ranging from Sufi to Bollywood.
