Actress Karisma Kapoor is not seen in any film these days as she feels that time has become precious for her and she wants to take on just a few films. Recently, she spoke about her career and passion for working. She shared details regarding the type of project that she wanted to do these days.
During a conversation with The Times of India, Karisma Kapoor spoke about observing the industry closely for decades. She said that today, work is about passion and purpose. "I grew up in the industry and have had the privilege of playing all kinds of roles, from commercial blockbusters to experimental films." Now, instead of being everywhere, I choose projects that touch my heart.
The actress admits that time has become paramount to her. She said that previously, the constant workload and the constant rush from one set to another were incredibly hectic. Now, she values time more.
I choose projects carefully because I want to make time for each project to be meaningful and allow enough time for my family. The script is important, but the people and the purpose behind the story also matter.
The actress further added that the big screen has its own magic; it's where I started, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. But I also love how storytelling has evolved with OTT platforms.
The web offers opportunities for complex stories and diverse characters. For someone like me, who makes informed decisions about what to do next, it's a great field. However, I will never leave the big screen.
On the work front, Karisma Kapoor was last seen in the 2024 murder-mystery film "Murder Mubarak." This multi-starrer was released on OTT platforms. However, the film received a mixed response. There is no information yet about her upcoming projects.
