Harshvardhan Rane Reflects on Career and New Men’s Jewellery Line
Harshvardhan Rane reflects on career shifts since 2010 and unveils his signature men's titanium and gold jewellery collection.
MUMBAI — Actor Harshvardhan Rane, fresh off the commercial success of his romantic drama Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, stepped out in the city on Friday for the launch of a premium men’s jewellery collection. Interacting with journalists on the sidelines of the event, the actor offered insights into his career philosophy, emphasizing that continuous evolution and creative adaptation remain central to an actor's survival in the film industry.
When asked about the widespread resurgence of interest following the theatrical re-release of his hit film Sanam Teri Kasam, Rane framed his career as a continuous building process rather than a story of overnight success.
"I consider my career to have been changing constantly since I made my acting debut in South Indian cinema back in 2010," Rane said during the media briefing. "Change is the only constant in this profession. With every film, an actor’s life and professional graph evolve. Look at our industry's superstars—every project they choose, every brand association, and every launch they undertake stacks up over time to define their journey. Change is essential."
Redefining Men's Jewellery Aesthetics
Beyond discussing cinematic graphs, Rane detailed his personal connection to men's fashion and accessories. Known for his rugged outdoor persona, the actor shared that he had long sought men’s jewellery pieces that struck a balance between everyday practicality and refined design.
"I’ve always liked the idea of wearing metal, but finding the right balance was tough," Rane explained, showcasing pieces from the newly launched line. "Most options were either overly ceremonial or far too subtle. This collection hits that sweet spot."
Rane noted that personal accessories often carry emotional significance, recalling his father’s understated style:
"Everyone has a different relationship with jewellery. I remember my father always wore a very simple ring—it was a constant presence, and I never saw him without it. You don't need to save these pieces for weddings or formal functions. The right design works whether you're heading to a business meeting, hitting the gym, camping in the forest, or attending a black-tie event."
Multi-Dimensional Versatility
The newly unveiled line combines gold, titanium, and ethically sourced diamonds. Rane compared the mix of materials to an actor's need for versatility on screen, drawing a parallel to playing both high-octane action sequences and emotional romantic leads.
Having recently wrapped production on Omung Kumar's action drama Silaa, Rane continues to expand his performance range across mainstream romantic dramas and physical action thrillers.
