The producer of the recently released film 'Mad Square', Naga Vamsi was annoyed with those who were criticizing his film. He was displeased with the film receiving negative reviews and questions regarding the box office collections and made an open challenge.

He said, "If you don't like my films then ban them." Vamsi held a press conference in Hyderabad, in which he came to talk about his new film 'Mad Square'. The film is a sequel to the 2023 hit film Mad. He got angry at the critics during the press conference.

Naga Vamsi hit back at those who said that 'Mad Square' is working only because 'Robin Hood' is not liked by the audience. To this, Vamsi quipped, "Doesn't the audience know what they like? Or will you reviewers decide everything?" He talked about mutual respect in the film industry and said, "Your websites and YouTube channels run on our content and interviews. We also give advertisements. Don't try to destroy cinema, because you exist because of this industry."

When he was told that stars and technicians give interviews only to promote their films, Vamsi angrily replied, "If you have the guts, ban me. Don't review my films, don't take advertisements. Then let's see what happens. I will find a way to promote my films, that is my headache. But what about you? You exist because of the industry."

Vamsi also advised the audience not to trust the reviews too much. He said, "Review is just one person's opinion. It is not the result of an election that the majority should be accepted. If someone gives a bad review of the film after a fight with his wife at home, then it is not surprising. Everyone liked Lucky Bhaskar, but the reviewer did not praise it."

Vamsi claimed that 'Mad Square', which was released on March 28, has earned Rs 69.4 crore worldwide so far. He challenged the media to prove his figures wrong.

'Mad Square' stars Narne Nitin, Sangeet Shobhan, Ram Nitin, and Priyanka Jawalkar in the lead roles. The film is directed by Kalyan Shankar. It is produced by Naga Vamsi's company Sitara Entertainments. This production house is bringing big projects in the future, which include Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom (directed by Gautham Tinnanuri) and Surya-Pooja Hegde's Retro.
