Since its release, "Dhurandhar 2" has been performing well at the box office. The movie was directed by Aditya Dhar and released on March 19th. It's performing better than his previous film, "Dhurandhar." Despite its success, a section of the audience has criticized the film, calling it "propaganda." Celebrity trainer-turned-actor Mustafa Ahmed, who plays Rizwan in the film, has responded to this.

In an interview with Bollywood Cut Uncut, Mustafa said, "One person's propaganda is another person's agenda. My name is Mustafa Ahmed." Why does Aditya Dhar need to work with me? If he were looking for publicity, he could have cast Mukesh or Mahesh. Why would anyone do so much for someone? If someone has an agenda, I respect everyone.

He further said, "I haven't compromised in any way in the character I've played. I haven't done anything like people say I sold my conscience for fame. I can only speak my mind, speak my mind, speak for myself. This character hasn't done anything, nor have I seen anything around me that I felt was wrong."

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has been openly supporting the film since its release. He also responded to the ongoing "publicity" debate. He said that Pakistani critics can make their own film.

On being called a propaganda film, Anupam Kher said, "I pity those who call it a propaganda film. They should be ashamed of themselves. If you can't tolerate it, you should make one."
