The makers released an official statement informing them that "Patriot," which was scheduled to release on April 23rd, has now been postponed. According to the statement, the decision to delay the release was made due to unforeseen circumstances.

The makers also revealed that the film's new release date will be announced this evening via the official social media accounts of the film's lead stars, Mammootty and Mohanlal.
