Sanjay Kapoor started his career with the film Prem in 1995, opposite to Tabu. The film did not do well at the box office. After this, his film 'Raja' also flopped at the box office. When the film flopped, Raja's director Indra Kumar also felt that the film had flopped, although the film later became a huge hit.
Recalling this film, Indra Kumar told Siddharth Khanna in a conversation that after giving two hit films, I made the film 'Raja'. When I saw the original film, I did not understand some scenes. I realized my mistake, so I rewrote the script and shot it again. That film was also a super hit.
He said that just three weeks before the release of Raja, Sanjay Kapoor had another film released with Tabu (Prem). But it flopped. People started mocking me. Even I lost hope. In my mind, I thought, "Indra Kumar, consider this your last film. After this, let's go to Haridwar."
