Subhash Ghai said I am happy that the film 'Gandhi: Ek Vichar' was screened at IFFI Goa. He said that his 30-minute film, which he calls a dacoit drama, was appreciated. The Gandhi film that I have made, I have made it as a responsible citizen. I have not made it in the name of commercial cinema. Every child should watch this film. There are differences between today's generation and the older generation regarding Gandhi. Gandhi was called Mahatma Gandhi. Now questions are being raised about Gandhi.
He felt that this film needed to be made. A son tells his family that I do not like Gandhi. To this, the son questions Gandhi. He answers those 8-10 questions in response to whatever doubts there are about Gandhi. I had to do a lot of research about that in the film. My view and your view about Gandhi are different, which I have shown in the film.
