Paramveer Singh Cheema Reveals Why He Was Nervous About Doing ‘Border 2’

Paramveer Singh Cheema plays Subedar Nishan Singh in "Border 2." He told ANI, "When I heard the name 'Border', I was happy because it's a big film. However, I had a thought that I might get lost among the big stars." When you think about your journey, you think about how you're going to move forward. In this, I wore a turban. I didn't want people to see me only as a turbaned character.

He revealed that he had a meeting with director Anurag Singh. He shared his concerns with him, and then he was cast in the film. He said, "I come from an army background. My great-grandfather and many family members were in the army. They even served the country during World War II. So, there was a lot of responsibility. 'Border 2' is about patriotism and our soldiers. I had to make sure nothing went wrong." He added that he enjoyed working with Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan.

"Border 2" is a sequel to the movie "Border," which came out in 1997. The movie has Sunny Deol, Ahan Shetty, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and others in the cast.  The film released in theaters today.
