Shruti Haasan Recalls Teenage Rebellion: Kamal Haasan Was Angry Over Her Belly Button Piercing

Shruti Haasan, an actress from South India and Bollywood, revealed a memory from her childhood days through social media. According to her, when she was a teenager, she went for her belly button to be pierced, and her father Kamal Haasan was very angry about it.

During an Instagram 'Ask Me Anything' chat with her followers, when one of her followers asked her questions about her style and body piercings, she responded saying that she got her belly button pierced in her teenage years.

Sharing a photo alongside her response, Shruti wrote, "This decision was part of my teenage rebellion. I got my belly button pierced when I was 19. My father was very angry about this decision." She noted that most people make such decisions during their teenage years, often eliciting varied reactions from their families later on.

Shruti Haasan has long been known for her unique and bold fashion sense. When a fan asked about her hair care routine, Shruti revealed, "The last time I colored my hair was in 2017. Since then, I haven't undergone any professional hair treatments. I like experimenting with my hair and looks myself; sometimes I use homemade hair masks, and at other times, I even trim my hair myself."
