Maanayata Dutt Calls Sanjay Dutt Her Greatest Blessing
Maanayata Dutt shared family moments and an emotional note on Sanjay Dutt’s 67th birthday, calling him her greatest blessing.
Mumbai, July 29 — Maanayata Dutt marked her husband Sanjay Dutt’s 67th birthday on Wednesday with a personal Instagram tribute that combined family photographs and an affectionate message.
She posted images from the celebration that showed the couple with their twins, Shahraan and Iqra, and a chocolate cake on the table. The post was accompanied by the song “Dil Tu Jaan Tu” by Gurnazar.
“You are my greatest blessing, my strength, and my happiest place. Thank you for filling my life with love, laughter, and endless support. I pray this year brings you good health, happiness, and all the success you deserve. I love you today, tomorrow, and always. Happy Birthday! @duttsanjay,” Maanayata wrote.
Sanjay Dutt turned 67 on Wednesday and received messages from family members and well-wishers. His sister Priya Dutt shared an emotional note and a nostalgic video, describing how her brother had provided strength to the family during difficult periods and had filled the roles of both mother and father figure at different times.
The actor’s children also posted individual wishes. Twins Shahraan and Iqra, along with elder daughter Trishala Dutt, each shared personal messages. Shahraan posted a photograph of himself with his father in matching white traditional attire taken at an earlier formal occasion.
Sanjay Dutt and Maanayata married in 2008. Their twins were born in October 2010. The actor was previously married to Richa Sharma; the couple had a daughter, Trishala. Richa died in 1996 after a prolonged illness.
The birthday posts presented a private family moment in public form, with Maanayata’s message focusing on gratitude, companionship and well-wishes for the year ahead. The accompanying photographs and the tributes from Priya Dutt and the children underscored the personal rather than professional nature of the day’s observances.
