The estate representative for Gene Hackman requested the court to conceal the investigation report into his death. He requested the court to conceal the photographs and the footage along with the post-mortem reports. Gene Hackman's body along with his wife's was last month discovered in his house in New Mexico.

The officials last week informed that Hackman died at the age of 95 due to numerous diseases. Apart from this, his wife also died at the age of 65 due to numerous diseases. Hackman's pacemaker was active for the last time on February 18. The couple's bodies were only found on February 26. Security and maintenance staff informed the police about it.

Julia Peters, the representative for the estate of Hackman and Arakawa, requested Santa Fe's court to seal the records for the family's privacy rights during the mourning period under the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution. She was afraid that if the records reached the media, it could lead to a shocking scenario. On Tuesday, the request to keep the records secret was filed.

The petition states that the couple "lived an ideal life in Santa Fe, New Mexico from 30 to 19 and did not flaunt their lives." New Mexico's open records law prevents anyone's personal information from being made public. Under the law, medical information is also not made public.

Hickman was a Hollywood actor. He won two Oscars between 1960 and 2000. He has done films like 'The French Connection' and 'Hoosiers' and 'Superman'. His wife Arakawa was born in Hawaii. She studied piano. She studied at the University of Southern California. She met Hackman in 1980.
