Ekta Kapoor Opens Up on Personal Life, Says ‘Adjustment Gets Hard with Age’

Ekta Kapoor, also known as the “Queen” of television, is as popular for her achievements as for the gossip that surrounds her private life. Daughter of actor Jeetendra, Ekta Kapoor has had her son via a surrogate, but she remains single at the age of 50. Now, Ekta has made such candid revelations about her marriage, love, and personal life that are going viral on social media, surprising everyone. Ekta also revealed that people tell her that her marriage won't last, and she revealed the main reason for this...

During a recent interview with 'MK Talks', when Ekta was asked about the reason for not getting married, she gave a very practical answer. Ekta said, "In today's times, it's better if fewer people get married. After a certain age, it becomes very difficult to adjust to someone." She clarified that she is so busy with her work, parents, and son that she doesn't have time to devote to anyone else.

Ekta explained that her close friends had advised her against getting married, given her passion for her work. Echoing their friends' advice, Ekta said, "My friends say, 'Please don't get married. You won't leave the office, you won't spend time at home, and if there's a problem with the show, you'll sit in the editing room all night. No marriage can survive in such a situation."

Ekta has strong views on love. Calling love a "waste of time," she said that the world is selfish and people often use you. Ekta advises people to love their work and children. In a humorous yet serious tone, she said, "I've been in a successful marriage with Balaji Telefilms for the last 31 years, and I don't want a divorce."

During the same conversation, it was also revealed that Ekta Kapoor had financially supported actor Rajpal Yadav during a difficult time. She gave him lakhs of rupees, which the actor became emotional remembering. Ekta believes that if you make a commitment to someone, you should fulfill it, whether it's work or a relationship.

This interview with Ekta Kapoor once again proves that she prefers to live life on her own terms. For her, her work is her priority, and she is currently very happy with her work-marriage.
