In an interview with Lallantop, Ketan Singh says, 'I thought of making a show 'Akhtar Calling Akhtar' for the radio station but this show remained shelved for months. Actually, we had done a show earlier also by imitating the voices of Sunny Deol and Dharmendra ji, due to which we faced a lot of difficulties. In such a situation, the radio station did not want something like this to happen again.'

Ketan further says, 'After some time, one of our journalist friends talked to Javed Sahab. He told Javed Sahab everything. Javed Akhtar Sahab heard my mimicry show. After this, he gave his reaction, which surprised us.'

Ketan further says, 'Javed Sahab said, 'The show is good, I have no problem. It's just that my voice is not good, Farhan's voice sounds better.' Actually, the concept of this show was such that Farhan Akhtar calls his father Javed Akhtar, he asks his father for a solution to some problem or the other. Ketan used to mimic this conversation and say it on the radio show.
