Konkona Sen Sharma revealed, 'Worked in many films only because of Irrfan Khan.....'

There is a buzz surrounding Konkona Sen Sharma as she is going to be observed in a film titled 'Metro These Days'. This is a continuation film of a 2007 film called 'Life in a Metro'. Konkona Sen Sharma has appeared in a lot of films along with Irrfan Khan in the past. Now, it is revealed by Konkona in public that she has worked with Irrfan Khan.

In a conversation with Mashable India, Konkona Sen Sharma told that she easily agreed to roles in many films because Irrfan Khan was in it. She also told how their collaboration included many amazing projects.

Konkona told that in the early 2000s when Irrfan Khan had become famous in the film industry, they worked together in many films. Many times it happened that someone would go to Konkona and tell her that Irrfan Khan is in this film. This meant that if Irrfan Khan is in the film then this film will definitely be good.

However, when they met on the set, it seemed that things were not as expected. Then Konkona would tell Irrfan that since you said yes to the film, I also said yes. On this, Irrfan would say that he did not know what was in this project, he just said yes.

Konkona Sen Sharma told that she enjoyed 'Life in a Metro' a lot. She told that Irrfan had the ability to absorb things. There was reality in his acting. Once during the shoot, something fell. After this, Irrfan intentionally dropped something. Similarly, Konkona dropped something. Director Anurag liked this thing very much.

'Metro In Dino' is directed by Anurag Basu. The film stars Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan. It is scheduled to release on 4 July 2025.
