Rakul Preet Singh injured her back cramping during a gym training when she performed an 80 kg deadlift without a belt. This incident occurred early on October 5, and the actress was told to spend more than a week recovering in bed after it.
As per Patrika, sources said that after the pain and cramps, the doctor has suggested Rakul to rest. Further, the source added that she took muscle relaxants for two days straight in order to keep her commitment and resumed shooting for "De De Pyaar De 2." She contacted the physiotherapist three days after the pain continued, according to additional reports. Yet every time, the ache reappeared three to four hours later. She kept receiving physiotherapy, but on October 10, an hour before the birthday celebration, she deteriorated severely.
