Supreme Court gives big decision reprimanding CBI in Sushant's murder case for Rhea Chakraborty

Rhea Chakraborty, ex-girlfriend of Sushant Singh Rajput got a big relief in Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case. In fact, the Supreme Court has canceled the Lookout Circular Notice (LOC) issued by CBI. The bench of the Supreme Court accused the CBI along with the Maharashtra Government of challenging the Bombay High Court's decision because he has a high-profile background. LOC is an order that forbids or restricts the movement of a certain person outside of the country. It is issued when a person has been accused of a crime or has to appear as a witness.

Rhea has been fighting a legal battle in the murder case of Sushant Singh Rajput for quite some time. Now, the Supreme Court has upheld the Bombay High Court order against the cancellation of LOC issued to Rhea and her family. Even the Supreme Court hearing in the case commented on CBI. Justice BR Gavai said, "We are warning. You are filing such a frivolous petition just because one of the accused is a high-profile person. This will cost a lot. They have deep roots in the society. If the CBI wants to take a fine and some strong comments, then argue the matter."

Talking about Sushant's death, his found dead in his Bandra apartment in Mumbai on June 14, 2020. After this, the family of the actor filed a case in Patna, demanding an investigation. Also, Rhea was accused of inciting Sushant to commit suicide. The responsibility for this case's investigation is given to the CBI. The Rhea was arrested in September 2020 in the same case. For old times' sake, a LOC was issued in August 2020 against Rhea and her family, which was challenged by them before the Bombay High Court. Now the Supreme Court has upheld the decision to cancel the CBI's lookout notice against Rhea in this case.
