Vishal Debunks Health Rumors: 'I Am Fine and Back on Track'

Chennai, Jan 11 (IANS) – Actor and producer Vishal has dismissed rumors about his health, assuring fans and media that he is doing well and back to work. Speaking during the press screening of his upcoming film Madha Gaja Raja, the actor expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love and support he received during his brief illness.

Addressing mediapersons at the event, Vishal said, “I have realized how many people love me and have blessed me with all their heart. I still haven’t replied to 425 messages from well-wishers saying, ‘Recover and come back soon.’”

Clarifying Health Concerns

Vishal explained that he had only been dealing with a viral fever, which was “on the higher side,” but denied exaggerated claims about his condition. Trashing rumors that he was admitted to Apollo Hospital, the actor clarified, “I only received treatment at Kauvery Hospital and was never admitted anywhere. As I said in my film Mark Antony, ‘You thought I would fall? I won’t.’ My self-confidence and my dad’s support are my strength, and together they help me overcome any hurdle.”

Gratitude for Media and Fans

Despite being advised by his parents to rest, Vishal attended the Madha Gaja Raja event, stating, “When I looked in the mirror, I saw the face of director Sundar C. I knew I couldn’t miss this event, which I’ve been waiting for years.”

He took a moment to thank the media for their love and support, saying, “The true media is here today. I am truly indebted to you for your care. After the event, so many of you called and messaged to check on me. I have survived for 20 years in this industry because of your love.”

Vishal assured his fans and industry colleagues that he is ready to resume work and dismissed rumors claiming he would take an extended break. “There were talks that I wouldn’t shoot for three or six months. Let me assure everyone—I am fine and back on track,” he said.
