Aamir Khan says that his mother inspired him to cast Sakshi Tanwar in the film. In fact, Aamir's mother used to watch TV serials and was a huge fan of Sakshi Tanwar. That's where Aamir Khan thought of Sakshi Tanwar. Aamir Khan said, "It was my idea to cast Sakshi in the film, and I suddenly thought of her."

A video has been released from Aamir Khan Productions. In it, Aamir Khan shares the story of casting Sakshi Tanwar in the film. He says, "One day, I suddenly thought of Sakshi Tanwar. I don't know why." He further added, "When the scene was shot, he was surprised. He said, 'What have you done? I had no expectations at all.'" Aamir continued, "Actually, Sakshi was my idea. My mother loved her on TV, so I asked Nitesh ji, 'Should we try Sakshi ji?'"

Sakshi also spoke about working in the film. She said, "When I was told that this role was for me, I couldn't believe that such a pairing could be made." Sakshi Tanwar also revealed that she had previously been receiving offers for several TV shows, which she consistently rejected. The actress said that she later understood why. Aamir Khan also praised Sakshi's performance, saying, "She's amazing and a truly brilliant actress."
