Divyenndu Sharma Wants to Break ‘Angry Young Man’ Image Post Mirzapur, Aims for Romantic Roles

Divyenndu and Pulkit Samrat star in the action drama series "Glory." According to Divyenndu, who recently spoke out about his career, after playing in "Mirzapur," people tend to perceive him as an "angry young man." Therefore, he is interested in trying a new character.
After "Mirzapur," Divyenndu has cultivated an image of an "angry young man." As a result, he's been offered more similar roles. Now, Divyenndu wants to break this image and play the role of a lover boy.
In an interview with News 18, Divyenndu revealed that he now wants to play a sweet, happy-go-lucky guy on screen. He said, "I really want to do a romantic comedy. But not a cliché, something different.
Maybe like '50 First Dates.' I want to play a very sweet, happy guy. Not the angry, burning role I'm often offered. But a very nice, happy person."
Pulkit Samrat, who will be seen with Divyenndu in 'Glory,' was also present during the conversation. He jokingly said, "Send me the scripts you have, and I'll send you what I have. That's all we can do." Both actors laughed at this.
The web series 'Glory' explores the world of Indian boxing. It blends family drama, revenge, and a murder mystery. It stars Divyenndu, Suvinder Vicky, Jannat Zubair, Ashutosh Rana, Sikander Kher, Sayani Gupta, Yashpal Sharma, Kashmira Pardeshi, and Kunal Thakur.
