Hrithik Roshan Breaks Silence on ‘Ramayana’ VFX Controversy, Urges Fans Not to Judge Early
Hrithik Roshan expressed his opinion on the ongoing debate over the VFX of the film "Ramayana." He urged viewers to understand the filmmakers' intentions. The actor also addressed the VFX of "War 2."
Hrithik Roshan wrote an extensive note on Instagram in regard to the controversy surrounding the visual effects of the film Ramayana. The trailer of the Ranbir Kapoor film had gained immense traction online.
He urged his fans not to judge until they understood the filmmakers’ motives. Hrithik Roshan also responded to several fans in the comments section. The fans insisted that there needs to be a larger conversation around the same, which he agreed with.
Meanwhile, a fan asked him about his last release, War 2, and commented, "Hrithik Roshan makes us think there could be a debate over the poor VFX of Ramayan and War 2... Well, Hrithik, I surrender to you! What a brilliant stance you took! And did you indirectly defend War 2? Well, love my King forever."
Hrithik responded simply, writing, "War 2 had some physics and gravity issues and was short on time. That's okay. But War 1 was an absolutely brilliant film, absolutely perfect."
War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is part of the YRF Spy Universe, which also includes films like Salman Khan's Tiger and Shah Rukh Khan's Pathan. War 2 starred Kiara Advani in the lead role, and Jr. NTR made his Bollywood debut with it. However, the film received mixed reviews from audiences and had a disappointing opening.
